„Live for the music“ was the motto from 12th to 15th March at the international „Musikmesse“ in Frankfurt. Visitors from all over of the world came to see the newest trends and to test them live.

A big surprise could be explored at the Reloop booth, where the Global team proudly presented their new Reloop Spin! system. With the use of special Timecode-Records and -CDs, it is possible to control digital music on a computer.

Scratching, needle dropping, mixing: classic working on digital basis, combined with a well-structured software and a sturdy USB-interface – that's Spin!

But that's not all folks – the second big highlight was the Reloop Digital Jockey which could be tested for the first time! The Digital Jockey is available in two versions – one as Controller-Edition and one as Interface-Edition with a 4-channel sound card integrated.

These professional MIDI-Controllers make it possible for DJs to control ones favoured mixing software without having to use a mouse.

The controllers are delivered with „Attack“, a software which was specialised for the Digital Jockey and the renown „Traktor 3 LE“ from Native Instruments – both already Pre-Mapped for the controller. Full control for the harddiscjockey (HDJ)!

Pumping beats with a sexy hip wiggle were presented by Reloop's show DJane K.Lectra who played with the new Spin! system. Passing by without grooving to her sound was impossible.

Just on the opposite side at the Ortofon booth, DMC World Champion DJ Rafik presented his skills with some great showcases which put the audience on Wednesday and Thursday on fire.

In the studio area, Sinn7 introduced the new Rox-Series. The integrated USB audio-interface makes an external sound card with these mixers unnecessary.

Two new master keyboards (Kommodor.25 and Kommodor.49) were presented and showed how a handy control for Software-Sequencers or Plug-Ins are made easy. It Rox!
